American Adds New Summer Weekend Service to New York's LaGuardia from BGR

January 18, 2016 - Bangor, Maine – American Airlines will start weekend summer service from Bangor International Airport to New York’s LaGuardia Airport starting June 4th. The service will be operated once daily on Saturdays and Sundays through September 4th.
Tony Caruso, Airport Director commented, “We are very pleased with American’s announcement to start weekend summer service to LaGuardia. This service will be a great addition to the Bangor market giving our customers more choices to New York City, one of our top destinations.” Mr. Caruso went on to say that this service will be on a 50 seat CRJ200. The flights will depart New York at 8:00 am arriving in Bangor at 9:45 am. Flights will depart BGR at 10:15 am and arrive at LaGuardia at 11:50 am.
American Airlines also flies to Philadelphia and Washington, DC from Bangor International and is the airport’s largest carrier transporting more than 44% of BGR passengers annually.
