Airport Director

Ms. Hupp has served in her current position as Airport Director for the Bangor International Airport since 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University in Missouri. Her background in aviation includes several key positions at the Kansas City Aviation Dept. in Kansas City, MO and Airport Manager at the Aberdeen Regional Airport in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Ms. Hupp is also an accredited member of the American Association of Airport Executives and serves as a board member for a number of local, regional, economic and civic organizations.

Assistant Airport Director

Anthony P. Caruso, Jr., C.M.

Anthony P. (Tony) Caruso, Jr. holds a B.S. degree in Aviation Science, with a concentration in Airport Management, from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. His diverse aviation background includes FBO management, airline operations and airport management. In addition to serving as Assistant Director, Mr. Caruso directly oversees the Airport's FBO, AVITAT Bangor, which includes ramp services (fueling), aircraft maintenance, ground support maintenance, passenger services and customer services. Mr. Caruso is a FAA licensed Private Pilot and is currently pursuing accreditation through the American Association of Airport Executives.

A graduate of the University of Maine school of Engineering and Science, Bob Jarvis has a wealth of experience in the world of aviation. With a solid background in airline operations and airport management, Jarvis oversees the divisions of Airfield Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Fuel Division, Communications, Airport Security and Compliance, and Operations at one of the largest operating airfields east of the Mississippi. Mr. Jarvis is a licensed aircraft dispatcher and is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives

Finance Manager

A native of Maine, Scott has eleven years of experience in a variety of positions in the finance field. He graduated from the University of Maine with a BS in finance management. Scott’s previous experience includes several years with Unicel in Bangor where he served in a variety of positions including Credit Policy Manager, Activations Manager, Business Analyst and Financial Analyst. Immediately prior to joining the Airport team, he was a Financial Analyst with the Cianbro Corporation.

Marketing Manager

Ms. Masters joined the BGR Team in March 2007 and has worked in the tourism and transportation industry for the past 14 years. She brings a wealth of marketing knowledge and experience to the Airport. Ms. Masters' most recent experience comes from seven years as the Director of Marketing for Bay Ferries, operators of the high speed ferry service from Bar Harbor and Portland. Prior to joining the ferry operation in 1999, she was the Executive Director of the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce for 6 ½ years. A Maine native and graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, she has served several years as the Chairman of DownEast Acadia Regional Tourism and has been active in many other tourism related organizations over the last fourteen years.
