Anthony P. Caruso, Jr. C.M.
Anthony P. (Tony) Caruso, Jr., C.M. was appointed as the Bangor International Airport Director in July of 2012. As the Airport Director, he is responsible for the management of our international non-hub, commercial and military joint-use airport. He oversees the day to day operations of the airport, is responsible for the budget, business development for the airport, participates in community outreach, and is the airport spokesperson. Tony served as Assistant Director for over 10 years. His diverse aviation background includes FBO management, airline operations and airport management. In addition to being an FAA licensed Private Pilot, Tony holds a Bachelor of Science for Bridgewater State University in Aviation Science with a concentration in Airport Management, from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. His diverse aviation background includes FBO management, airline operations and airport management and is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives.
Assistant Airport Director
James, returned to Maine to join the BGR team in 2013 after working at airports around the world. After graduating from Daniel Webster College where he earned his B.S. in Aviation Management and A.S. in Flight Operations, James joined the US Army as an Aviation Operations Specialist. After his service to the Army, James worked in several airport operation departments state side before traveling to Baghdad to become the Operations Supervisor/Warehouse Manager at Baghdad International Airport. At BGR, James oversees Airport's FBO, Bangor Aviation Services, which includes ramp services, fueling, aircraft maintenance, ground support maintenance, passenger services and customer services.

Risteen H. Bahr
Risteen joined the BGR Team in March 2007. As the Marketing Manager she is responsible for Air Service Development, advertising and marketing campaigns, community outreach and public relations programs. Risteen is also involved with BGR's Air Cargo development initiatives along with general aviation business development. She also serves as the airport's Public Information Officer. Since 1993, she has worked in the tourism and transportation industry. Ms. Bahr's prior experience includes being the Director of Marketing for Bay Ferries,and as the Executive Director of the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce. A Maine native and graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, she is currently serving as the Chair of the Greater Bangor Conventions and Visitors Bureau as well as the Chair of the Bangor Historical Society. Risteen is the incoming Chair of the Maine Tourism Association. She is the past Chairman of DownEast & Acadia Regional Tourism and The Maine Highlands.
