Bangor International Airport Director Rebecca Hupp announced today that Risteen Masters has been hired as their new Marketing Manager. Ms. Masters has worked in the tourism and transportation industry for the past 14 years and brings a wealth of experience to the airport. The Marketing Manager position for the airport is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategies and campaigns for the airport along with other public relations and administrative functions.
“We are very pleased to have Risteen join our management team. I am confident her abilities and experience will allow us to take a proactive approach in this rapidly changing industry.” says Airport Director, Rebecca Hupp.
Ms. Masters’ most recent experience comes from seven years as the Director of Marketing for Bay Ferries, operators of the high speed ferry service from Bar Harbor and Portland. Prior to joining the ferry operation in 1999, she was the Executive Director of the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce for 6 ½ years. A Maine native and graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, Risteen served several years as the Chairman of DownEast Acadia Regional Tourism until this past month, and has been active in many other tourism related organizations over the last fourteen years.

Bangor International Airport is a full-service regional airport offering non-stop, affordable flights to Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Detroit, New York’s LaGuardia, Newark, Philadelphia, and seasonal flights to Minneapolis. The Airport is an enterprise funded entity operated by the City of Bangor and is supported solely through Airport generated revenue.
